This is my compiled make-up wish list - I'm keeping in nice and short as the other things I'm wanting are part of my daily make-up routine anyway. So these are things that I see as super special, ranging from the affordable to the indulgent!

First is Sleek's i-Divine palette in Vintage Romance. I love the berry colours as well as nude colours - I do not have any palettes with these shades in. Create stunning eye makeup with 12 shades of super pigmented eye shadow. i-Divine palettes are suitable for all skin tones adding a touch of stylish sophistication to take you from day to night.

There is nothing I love better than a good concealer. Like many other bloggers, I tend to stick to Rimmel's Wake Me Up, but I wanted to try something new, and maybe something I wouldn't get through so quickly. I therefore want to try Maybelline's Eraser Eye Concealer in Light. Maybelline Eraser Eye does more than just cover! Its coloured pigments perfect the under eye area covering flawlessly. Enriched with Goji Berry the formula cares for the eye area that suffers most from a hectic social life and lack of sleep- the eyes. Available in 2 shades: Nude and Medium.

I've been pining for a new blush for a while, and whilst I usually stick to powder blush, the cream to powder formula of Benefit's new Majorette blush beckoned my attention. You can also use this as a base for other powders. A cream-to-powder booster blusher that helps amplify the natural rosiness of your cheeks with extra staying power. The peach shade and pomegranate fragrance of this Benefit blusher will instantly lift your mood.

What would a Laura Emily beauty post be without mention of Urban Decay?
The new Vice3 palette is just. Perfect. All the colours I'd use everyday, ranging from eye catching to neutral. And look at that blending brush.. Even the packaging.. Oh need I say more?
You can never have too much of a good thing. Satisfy your eyeshadow vice with 20 velvety, NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN shades—from an amazing soft black and a stunning burgundy to a rich, smoky red-black. (Source)

What would you like Santa to bring you? Or maybe a treat for yourself?

Recently, Aimee Belle tagged me to complete the Winter Essentials tag!
Now we're into December, I'm feeling super cosy and this tag just makes me all fuzzy inside!

What's your ultimate party season lip product?
Russett Dream by Avon. It is a berry colour with a golden shimmer, yet doesn't dry the lips out! It appears that they no longer stock this shade, so I'm using it so sparsely when I want to wear it everyday!

What's your essential makeup product?
A matte pink blush! I love transitioning from corals from Summer into the more pinky shades of Winter. My skin becomes paler, so a nice muted pink just adds a little pop of colour back in there. I use Benefit's Dandelion, as delicate as the name suggests.

What are you most hoping to see under your tree Christmas morning?
Something that says 'You are going to Download!'
But on a more beauty related note, hopefully Jimmy Choo eau de parfum.. Ooh how I'm in love...

Name one beauty essential that's never missing from your bag during the colder months.
Lip balm, always lip balm.. An array of different ones.. Palmer's is my go to, but in my bag I usually find Honey Trap by Lush, a Nivea balm lurking, some vaseline, and most recently, Bee Good's Vanilla and Honey lip balm.

What are your winter weather skincare saviours?
I can honestly say that my skincare routine is particularly awful.
However, I do look after my hands as they so easily chap. I apply hand cream so many times a day. The best I have found is neutrogena's Norwegian Formula and anything by Crabtree & Evelyn, my current favourite being Tarrocco Orange - it smells so nice! Although not a stand out Christmassy scent, as the scent can transition through the seasons, it does remind me of oranges on Christmas!

What's winter going to smell like this year?
Citrus. Always citrus. Nothing more to say..

Is the berry eye the new berry lip?
I really super would love to try out this look using Sleek's Vintage Romance palette. I feel like it could suit me due to having light skin and darker hair. I'd hope it to look vampy, but it would probably look more zombie..

What are your greatest winter indulgences?
Bailey's and hot chocolate snuggled up on the sofa watching TV with the Mister!
Simple pleasures, and sends you to sleep but feels super homely in the colder months.

Lush Christmas: Your top pick?
Star Light Star Bright. Sparkly, citrussy and softening. I could not ask for any more..

Name one (or more) random winter essential.
A big massive scarf that's more like a blanket! I find myself wrapping myself up on a cold day at uni where I've forgotten to wear enough layers..

I tag:
Lucy from Lucycles

Nearing the end of November, I've started my Christmas shopping.
Having already finished a lil' box for someone special, I then went on the search for everyone else, when I remembered House of Wonderland from the Lincoln Blogger Meet goody bags! Their cute Beatles designs are so quaint and quirky that I decided to check out the rest of their store. Their gifts are handmade and eco-friendly.

We used to have a tradition of Christmas Eve gifts, and for a nine year old I found this super cute mini set, Magic Sparkly Reindeer Treats, which include Reindeer flying power - rolled oats, Christmas magic - sugar stars and Hopeful wishes - glitter. Even I, at 20 years old, would love to leave Rudolph some little treaties! This gift is £3, totally affordable as a stocking filler or night before Christmas mini surprise.
This sparkling oatmeal is food for the most magical of animals, powering Santa's reindeer on their long but endlessly exciting journey around the globe. If you sprinkle it on your lawn it will guide them down for a safe landing, leave a little by your stocking too and see it disappear by morning.

These earrings appealed to me due to their universal taste - there's no guessing on what someone may or may not like. As well as the pink, they come in a sea green colour and a grey. They are glass, so look super chic yet simple. This gift is £5, yet another affordable but amazing surprise!
These delicate little square shaped earrings are simple and elegant enough for everyday wear. The pretty glass pieces are hand selected and have an amazing quality to them. They are lightweight and very minimalist. They measure approx 10mm x 10mm in size and come secured to a silver coloured stud earring post. Each earring fastens with a metal butterfly stopper.

This necklace is hand drawn, and is an obvious choice for photography lovers. This gift is £8.
This gorgeous illustrated camera charm necklace makes a perfect gift for any keen photographer. T he hand cut acrylic charm measure approx 35mm x 30mm in size and is secured to a 16" silver coloured chain.

When I came across this, I instantly thought of one of my closest friends who is an active feminist. Banner necklaces come in an array of colours and you can even choose your own message, meaning that it is even more personal. I'd personalise it with a pet name for someone, an update to the old friendship bracelets that's a bit more inconspicuous. This gift is £10.
This gorgeous pastel coloured banner necklace is fantastic for making a bold statement. This was designed by House Of Wonderland on a graphics tablet. Not exciting I know but designing our pieces from scratch enables us to offer you a really unique item. Each charm is hand cut from acrylic and the image has been sealed with varnish. The charm measures approx 40mm x 10mm in size and comes secured to a gold coloured 16" chain with lobster clasp.

I'm in love with this necklace.. In fact I'm in love with all moon related gifts! I think this would be super cute for anyone! It has a matching earring set, you could go all out moon-themed! As it is handmade, each moon is different, adding to the cuteness! This gift is £9.
Meet our happy little moon.  This cheery little necklace is the perfect addition to your collection. He will look majestic around anyone’s neck, at any occasion. He is very good at brightening your day, and everyone else’s as well. Simple and charming, this is a quirky take on your average moon. They make a great talking point for any situation. He is approx 30mm and comes attached to a 16 inch silver chain.

For a family gift, to hang up or go on the tree, is this personalised bobble. On the front it has 'The ___ Clan', and on the back it says 'Christmas 2014' - a special way to remember this year. It is made of wood, and is fairly rustic, playing to the shabby chic tinglies!
Personalised to your own clan, these bobbles welcome Christmas 2014 with a green backdrop dotted with pinprick snowflakes. Great to hang on the tree, or round the house, these are specific to your family. If you dig them out next year the date will serve as a reminder of the awesome Christmas you had in 2014, and the wonderful Christmases yet to come. Made from ecologically sourced wood and tied with rustic brown string, these little charms measure 2" and are a perfect pre-Christmas gift or decoration.

If you enjoyed this post and fancy checking out House of Wonderland, you can grab a 10% discount with your first order with the code BPNE2341!
Happy shopping everyone!

(Photo not taken by myself)

On the 16th November, I cycled into town to attend the (first?!) Lincoln Bloggers Club Meet, arranged by the super lovely Aimee of Aimee Belle. We firstly visited Lush Lincoln, and then Rock, Paper, Scissors with a talk by Suzie from Xenca, with added scrummy tea and cake! This post will feature Lush - the next post will feature developed photos.

As always when I'm in town, I got a duck and hoisin sauce wrap from Boots, avoiding the make-up. I then met up with Tasnim and Frankie before heading to Lush.

 Holly GoLightly
The Christmas Penguin

Lush were so lovely to show us the six new shampoo bars coming your way next week. These include: Jason and the Argan Oil, Brazilliant, Lullaby, Copperhead, Montalbano, and Honey I Washed my Hair.
Montalbano stood out by far - the strong scent of fresh lemons filled by citrus cravings right up - I always always sway towards the citrussy scents in Lush.. I would also love to see the results with Copperhead - this contains Henna (the design is also super rad..)

Adding to how kindly amazing Lush were, was reflected in our bags:

 Creamy Candy Bubble Bar

From Dusk 'til Dawn Massage Bar

I also treated myself to two things from the Christmas range - I promised myself I wouldn't buy anything, but I just got so pulled in.. Lush also kindly threw in Fizzbanger. I used this in my bath as soon as I got home, and had some bubbles with Sparkly Pumpkin as well.

 Luxury Lush Pud
The Melting Snowman

Thankyou again to Aimee for organising such a chilled meet up, see you again for part 2 of this post!

Now we're done with Hallowe'en, I thought I'd do a little life update..

I stated on the 27th September that I would take a break from blogging due to upsetting news. It is now nearly two months since I found out the terrible news of Keilan's death. He has featured on many of my blog posts, a great help with photography, and generally the best person to be around.

I would love him to be remembered as a great, happy, bubbly person. You can watch him on YouTube: IAmKeilan

There's a lot I never got to say to Key, but he inspires me every day to try and be the best me I can be. He told me once that "It's easy to be nice, just be nice".
His popularity and presence astounded me, at gigs, at uni, at parties and get together's among many more.

I met Keilan on the 22nd September 2012. He had never had a girl 'fangirl' over his name before. The first question I asked was 'are you Irish?!' This went into the spiel of his name. Everyone knows this story, he was an amazing story teller. We then bonded immediately over Nerfighteria and other random bits and bobs.

Keilan spent the night holding my hand, not letting go until he had to leave for work. This may have added up to a total of six hours. That's just the kind of guy he was.
Now, my birthday will be bittersweet, remembering meeting me, and remembering having to say goodbye.

I could talk about anything with him, whether that be Doctor Who, our current music tastes, how we felt and how we were feeling. He could make me happy by singing, and changing up the lyrics to the song Laura Marling by Beans on Toast.

There is never enough words, I think of more every day. As a marginal tribute, Doctor Who quotes always seem to suit us:
'It's sad when it's over. I'll always be here. But this is when we talked. And now, even that has come to an end. There's something I didn't get to say to you.'

Tomorrow will bring new thoughts and new words, but this is fitting for my beautiful boy.

Galactic Swirl
Star Light Star Bright bath melt
Space Girl bath-bomb

This cocktail makes my citrus senses tingle! It is space space inspired, smells of parma violets, and lime.
The bath takes you to a whole new world, sparkling and swirling. It's also super softening due to the bath melt.
