I always seem to be asked this question a lot, and the simple answer is, always, 'Primark'.

The first compliment I received was in Spring, a worker in New Look asked where I got my coral bag from, and was extremely surprised by my answer, as she could 'never find anything nice in Primark'.

It features a long strap that is not removable, and a flap over the top as well as a zipped compartment. It is a magnetic clasp. Unfortunately, after about a months use, the material around the clasp started to (literally) disintegrate - but for £6, can you complain?

I constantly get asked where I got this powder blue bag from, and yet again people are extremely astounded when I respond with Primark - it seems their A/W14 range is spot on!

This bag seems a lot sturdier with tighter stitching and better material - it was more expensive so thank-you Primark! It features gold trimming and details, with a twist clasp. The top of the bag is a zip. You can either use the handles or long strap to carry - depending on what I'm doing each day I like to switch it up.

What do you think of Primark's bags? And their A/W14 collection?

On the 9th August, I yet again descended upon Donington Park for yet another festival! This time it was for Holi One, a festival of colour, unity, dancing and fun!
The festival tours throughout the UK, and me and my friend decided to go to the Nottingham festival due to how close it is to us.
We arrived late, but still not a lot was going on - a queue for faces to be painted and an a buzz of anticipation for the festival to get into a full swing..

The first countdown was at 2pm, and the crowd loved it!
Although there was little to do between countdowns apart from eat, drink, or get your face painted, it was still a good day out! On occasion more pouches of powder were thrown into the crowd, keeping us on our feet and dancing.. A lot of dancing..

What I wore:
Dress: Primark
Shoes: Schuh
Choker Necklace: Vintage Fair
Earrings: Vintage
Sunglasses: New Look

What she wore:
Dress: New Look
Shoes: Primark
Bracelets: Primark
Rings: Pandora

Thank-you for reading! Have you enjoyed any festivals this year? Would you go to Holi One? If you have been, did you enjoy it?

On the 7th August I was nominated by the fabulous Naomi-Rose of Thank-you so much!
On my previous post, I expressed how much the community means to me, and this nomination adds to those initial feelings.

The rules for this award are:
You must answer all questions that are given to you
Must link back to the person that nominated you
Nominate 11 bloggers who have less than 200 followers
Provide nominees with 11 questions of your choice
Cannot nominate the person who nominated you
Must inform nominees of your nomination
Provide nominees with a link to your post for more info

My questions from Naomi-Rose:

1. What's your favourite make up brand?
My favourite high street brand is currently Rimmel, and my heart is with Urban Decay for high end make up.

2. If you could only save one thing in a house fire (except people & pets) what would you save?
I'm a super duper child when it comes to this - I would save my beloved blanket that has been patched up several times over!

3. What is your dream job?
I find this question really hard.. I'm about to go into my second year of university and don't know what my real job aims are, let alone a dream job!
I'd love to do PR for events and festivals.. So maybe that IS my dream job!

4. Whats your favourite movie? (I need suggestions of what new to watch!)
I have so many! Finding Nemo, Donnie Darko, A Clockwork Orange, Rock of Ages, Forrest Gump...

5. Tea or coffee?
Neither thank-you very much!

6. What shop do you spend the most in?
I spend a LOT of time in Superdrug. A lot.. And Primark. You just have to route around in there!

7. What made you start blogging?
I had watched vloggers on YouTube and then found the beauty blogging community.. From there I had the urge but no motivation to join in.. Somehow I found that motivation around Christmas and have been blogging ever since!

8. Do you have a Youtube channel?
I do have a YouTube channel, however all I have on there is me falling off a horse.. One for You've Been Framed?

9. Are you scared of anything?
Thunder.. I get pretty anxious in the dark but I'm not really scared of the dark. Just what's in the dark.

10. Biggest accomplishment so far?
My biggest accomplishment is the ability to present in front of a group of people. Being so anxious about this before uni, I'd stay awake all night. After this year it has built my confidence up and I'm getting there with speaking to people!

11. If you could be someone for one day, who would you want to be?
I am also super struggling with this one - I really don't know! I think I'll just be me..

I nominate:
Lil of

My questions for you are:

1. If you were to be one Disney princess, who would you be and why?

2. If you were only allowed to choose between blush and lip colour, which would you choose?

3. Where would you most like to travel to either home or abroad?

4. What do you most like to blog about?

5. Who is your favourite blogger/YouTuber?

6. Do you believe in love at first sight?

7. What is your favourite clothing brand?

8. High End vs. High Street beauty?

9. What is your staple fashion piece?

10. What was your worst fashion faux pas?

11. What makes you proud?

I can't wait to see your answers!

It's kind of a weird thing having your life splashed across social media.. If it's not you writing things on facebook, twitter, tumblr or YouTube, you're texting. And if it's not you it's someone gossiping about you.
I got a bit stressed about this for the past week, so chose to take a break from blogging whilst getting myself comfortable and surrounding myself with friends.

I haven't been lazy, however. I have planned out my next blog posts... Okay,  I haven't written them up, but I do have a set plan and feel a lot better about myself for taking the time out to re-evaluate blogging and my life. I'm not a 'big' or 'popular' blogger, but the community is always there to support you when you're feeling down about a simple number count on a page.

What made me feel a lot better about this whole thing is the views when I'm not even promoting myself. These figures mean that someone is looking because they want to, I haven't made anyone, by saying "HEY, LOOK, THIS IS MY BRAND LOOK PLZ".. People have been commenting and it's made a real difference!

Since being gone, I've bought furniture for my new flat, been 'out out' a couple of times and had a fab week with friends!

All photos have been taken on various phones at various stages of drinking.. Explains a lot really..
As always, thank-you for taking your time reading this post, it means a lot to me. I always reply to comments and I love hearing from you!
